Super-Favs temporarily discontinued

Dear friends,
I am forced to take a (hopefully) short break as my PC is infected with a virus code-name "Trojan.Clicker.HTML.IFrame.AK". I'm not 100% sure but I think I got my Trojan virus from a trusted web music site which may have been infected by malicious hackers. At first it was more a nuisance - my anti-virus program (BitDefender) kept warning that a virus has been detected and blocked and the system was not affected. Then two days ago these warnings continued to appear almost instantly, so the warning screen was almost always on my screen. I tried to scan my PC on-line with the Trend Micro House Call device but the PC froze and I had to restart it, and upon restart it showed me the most-hated blue screen that told me that my E: disk partition was unreadable and also some files on my C: drive... The E drive was my ware-house, the deposit of all my pictures (I had no time to burn back-up CDs for the ones I took this year), MP3, Word files with CD and DVD lists and many more useful stuff.
As I progress in checking my programs I also notice damaged filed on them - for example the spell check on my E-mail program is disabled and the file supposed to contain the dictionary is un-accessible. My printer is not working it seems OK but does not respond to any command. The virus also damaged my anti-virus program, even after re-installation during 50% of start-ups it is not able to activate the firewall protection.
On Friday I called the specialist who takes care of our office equipment and told him the story and he promised to pay me a visit as soon as possible, it seems it was not possible until now, so I'll call him again on Monday. I wish him to take a look at my PC as I know he is extremely careful with the data and is not so "reinstall Windows-happy" as the rest of the PC specialists. I badly wish not to reinstall W as I have a lot of programs running and I'm not sure if I could find their source (some were taken form the Net) and/or the installation details.
That's it for now, sorry for the lengthy description
If anyone has any tip/advice/comment Id greatly appreciate it.
On top of all the above, I also have a nasty virus, it's probably related to the sudden weather changes we're experiencing for some time.
I hope that you are all well, spending a nice, quiet and relaxing weekend.

During the last couple of weeks my tight schedule allows me to view my Dev list mainly on weekends. Usually I view 100-150 deviations submitted by my friends and a lot of them end up in my Favourites Gallery, as I happen to watch some extremely talented artists.
But always few of the images remain in my mind seeming to cry out that they deserve more than this. This is why I have decided to submit a Super-Fav Journal entry each week.
Enjoy!

This week the absolute

goes to this message I've just received from the DA Help Desk. i will not add my comments as they would fall under the Adult Contents category.

I apologize for the inconvenience but while your bank has approved this transaction we cannot due to it receiving a high risk score from our Fraud Detection System, due to the fact that your billing country is a High Risk Country.

If you are connecting from a High Risk Country, you will not be able to make purchases directly through deviantART with your credit card. deviantART values the security of our customers and it is our policy to not accept orders which trigger the fraud detection system.

My Reply:
Dear Maureen,
Thank you for your reply but I'm sorry to say I'm not satisfied with it.
The card I'm using now is the same one I've used a couple of months ago for the purchase of my own subscription. More than this, I made this VISA card in only order to comply with your policy - see FAQ #148. My current card is a VISA Electron - not accepted by you - and I'm using it for many years for the payment of books and other merchandise from Amazon and other on-line stores. So I opened a new bank account and got myself a classic VISA card. I've used it once on DA and now it's not accepted anymore. Does this mean that I will not be able to extend my own subscription either?
I've tried once again to make the payment and I have checked the address - there's no error in it, it is the same I've used on my previous payment and the exact one stated in my bank account contract. Needlesstosay, the result was again negative.
I'm sure you are used to handling messages from frustrated clients and you know too well how I feel about this, so I'm refraining from further comments.
I have only one more question to add to the above - what should I do in order to extend my subscription, short of moving to a Low-Risk Fraud Country?
Sincerely,
Nadia

Sorry for discharging my frustration here, I know I shouldn't give up to negative feelings. I'm going to brighten myself up by watching the Welsh Snooker Tournament semifinals, may Ronnie win!
